In February 1994 the Opebi Parish at Ozone established it’s 2nd baby Parish also along Allen Avenue at a Chinese Restaurant known as the New Eko Chinese Restaurant. This Parish named Higher Ground Parish has since developed its permanent site into what is now known as “Potter’s House” at 29, Emina Crescent off Toyin Street, Ikeja, dedicated by the General Overseer in January 2001. The Potter’s House is now the Zonal Headquarters of the Opebi Zone of RCCG Lagos Province 2.
The 3rd baby Parish of Opebi parish was donated in 1994 by Elder later Asst. Pastor Charles Adenegan, then a member at Ozone Night Club. Elder Adenegan had founded and personally constructed the church building as a Celestial Church anappreciation to the Almighty God for saving his soul, Pastor Adenegan handed over the church to RCCG Opebi Parish.
The 4th baby Parish from Ozone was established in December 1996 in commemoration of the New Men in Christ Anniversary. The converts at a big crusade that the General Overseer conducted in Water Parks Gardens, Toyin Street, Ikeja became the foundation members of this parish. Thus the parish was located in the Water Parks building but to the glory of God it now has its own church building at 5, Oyetola Street Anifowose Ikeja.
Towards the end of 1994, Opebi Parish at Ozone established its Building Fund and through this fund the present building of RCCG House Of His Glory was constructed. The construction started in July 1997 and the building was dedicated by the General Overseer in May 1998. Read More
